    Faith-Centered Therapy Intensives

Sometimes healing requires more than a single hour each week.

A therapy intensive is a focused, extended time of care designed to help individuals and families experience meaningful emotional and spiritual growth in a short period of time. Therapy intensives allow us to step away from the pace of everyday life and create intentional space for reflection, healing, and renewal.

Our intensives range from 1 to 5 days, depending on the needs of the client, and are rooted in the belief that true healing addresses the mind, body, and spirit.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

    Who Are Therapy Intensives For?

Faith-centered therapy intensives are available for children, teens, and adults who are navigating:

    • Anxiety or chronic worry
    • Grief and loss
    • ADHD and emotional regulation challenges
    • Trauma or overwhelming life experiences
    • Emotional or spiritual burnout
    • Feeling “stuck” despite weekly therapy

They are especially helpful for clients who desire a deeper, more immersive experience that allows space for both clinical care and spiritual reflection.

    Why Choose an Intensive?

Weekly therapy is valuable—but for some seasons of life, a more focused approach can be transformational.

    Therapy intensives offer:

    • Dedicated time to slow down and listen—to your emotions, your body, and God’s presence
    • Deeper insight and momentum in a shorter timeframe
    • Space to practice new coping skills and spiritual grounding tools
    • Fewer disruptions from everyday stressors
    • A sense of clarity, peace, and direction moving forward

For children and teens, intensives allow therapy to feel more relational, experiential, and supportive rather than rushed or pressured.

What Happens During a Therapy Intensive?

Each intensive is prayerfully and thoughtfully designed around the individual or family. Over 1 to 5 days, clients receive up to 6 hours of personalized therapy per day, with time built in for rest, reflection, and emotional regulation.

    Sessions may include:

    • Individual therapy
    • Experiential and movement-based activities
    • Time in nature to support calm and connection
    • Animal-assisted therapy
    • Mindfulness and prayer-based grounding practices
    • Skill building for emotional regulation and daily life

A gourmet lunch is included each full day as part of your care, allowing the day to remain unrushed and restorative.

    Therapeutic Approaches We May Use

Therapy intensives integrate evidence-based clinical practices with faith-informed care, always honoring the client’s comfort level and beliefs.

    Approaches may include:

    • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help identify thought patterns and build healthier coping skills
    • Mindfulness practices, grounded in Scripture and breath-based calming techniques
Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients compassionately understand different parts of themselves
    • EMDR to help the brain and body process painful or overwhelming experiences
    • Nature-based therapy, recognizing God’s creation as a powerful place for restoration
    • Animal-assisted therapy, which often brings comfort, safety, and emotional openness

Faith integration may include prayer, Scripture, or spiritual reflection only when desired by the client.

A Space for Healing, Hope, and Renewal

Therapy intensives are not about rushing healing or forcing emotional breakthroughs. They are about creating a safe, Christ-centered environment where clients can experience support, clarity, and renewed hope.

    Many clients leave intensives feeling:

    • More emotionally regulated and grounded
    • Strengthened in coping skills and faith
    • Clearer about next steps
    • Reassured that healing is possible
